Champagne Shower

On Sunday morning, we are planning to have a champagne shower by the rooftop pool for Trish.  We were thinking it might be a fun alternative to a traditional lingerie shower to give Trish a little something special for their upcoming Hawaiian Honeymoon... a little sundress, beach towels, suntan lotion, earrings, something special for the evenings, flip flops, beach hat, a swim suit, travel items, etc... or anything else you think she'd like!

If it helps, her size are:  34D top, Size Medium or 6 bottom, and Size 8.5 shoes.

Also... we aren't sure how to put a poll onto the blog without using a separate website, so if you could just update the shared GoogleDoc below with your info/input, that'd be great!  :)

Pedal Tavern Update

As you know, we will be taking a ride on The Nashville Pedal Tavern to kick off Trish's Nash Bash Bachelorette Weekend!  We've reserved a bike privately for our group to do the Broadway Tour (up to 16 people at a time... so we'll rotate)!  It's a 2.5 hour bicycle bar crawl. It will make 2-3 stops along the route giving us the option to check out the great bars, restaurants and shops that Nashville has to offer. This is a great opportunity to take group photos in various areas of the city.  The tours start and end in 2 different locations. Who knew you could exercise and have a beer at the same time!?  You can check out some photos and videos here:
http://www.nashvillepedaltavern.com/photos-and-video/

We will be split into three groups, each participating in two brief tours of Nashville’s Broadway area so that no one gets too tired. This will also give everyone the opportunity to meet everyone else in the group as we kick-off the party weekend. We’ll take some group pics and see Nashville’s famous Broadway street as we pedal and have a drink (or a few)! During your group’s “down time” you can visit a bar or tour around the area on foot.

Here are the groups:

Group A - Nora K, Caitlin, Erin, Lorraine, Noreen, Christine, Trish
Group B - Jennie, Cathie, Di, Carly, Pat, Thalia, Annie, Trish
Group C - Rachel, Nora B, Laura, Kara, Megan, Alexis, Elissa, Trish

4:30 p.m. Groups A & B
5;15 p.m. Groups B & C
6:00 p.m. Groups C & A
The big "Nash Bash" Bachelorette Party for Trish is only about two weeks away. Now that the guest list has been finalized, we wanted to share the Rooming Lists for the hotel. We are so excited to celebrate with all of you and celebrate Trish's last fling before the ring.

Rooming Lists

Room 1:  Di Ander, Christine Howe, Carly Howe, Noreen Conniff
Room 2:  Rachel Linduska, Nora Berdelle, Laura Friesema, Alexis Colliani
Room 3:  Elissa Glavish, Kara Spudic, Megan Evans, Trish Howe
Room 4:  Nora Kaufman, Caitlin Lopata, Erin Aquino, Lorraine Prendergast
Room 5:  Thalia Anest, Jennie Chalifoux, Cathie DeMoon
Room 6:  Pat Howe & Anne Malone

Cost Per Person

We also wanted to share the cost per person for your planning purposes. The cost per person is $225 if staying four in a room, $345 if staying two in a room, and $45 if you booked your own room separately from the group.

In addition to our rooms at the Omni hotel, this amount also includes:
  • $10 for Pizza at the hotel on Saturday night
  • $25 for Nashville Pedal Tavern (total with tip was divided by total in our group)
  • $10 for Alcohol on the Pedal Tavern
Not included: Drinks when we're out at the bars and at the hotel, Sunday night's dinner, or Monday's farewell brunch at The Southern. If you could please bring some cash so it's easier to pay the bill for dinner and brunch, that'd be great!

The hotel room cost for most participants was $180/person, so we tried to keep the other costs down as much as possible for everyone.   Although the hotel was a bit pricey, we figured everyone would save in the long run on time and transportation expense because the hotel is so conveniently located in the heart of Nashville and everything we want to do!  Plus it’s a gorgeous, practically new, hotel with a 24-hour fitness center and a beautiful roof-top pool! Be sure to check out the video tour at http://www.omnihotels.com/FindAHotel/Nashville/Tour.aspx

Please pay this amount to Diane Ander (by cash or check) anytime on Saturday.

Sunday Brunch

We've made "farewell brunch" reservations for Sunday morning before everyone flies home.  We found a place with mimosas, bellinis, and lots of great reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor for brunch.  It's called The Southern (close to our hotel), and you can find more information here:  http://thesouthernnashville.com/

Pedal Tavern Booked!!

An exciting development:

We have booked the NASHVILLE PEDAL TAVERN for our first night in Nashville.  Our reservation time is 4:30pm on Saturday, so we'll need to arrive at the starting location by 4:10pm.

What is the Pedal Tavern & How Does it Work?

The Nashville Pedal Tavern is a 16-person bicycle powered party on wheels.  We have heard it is perfect for a bachelorette party! You can check out some photos and videos here:  http://www.nashvillepedaltavern.com/photos-and-video/

We will post more information here as it is finalized!  Be sure to sign up for the Remind101 texts (it's free, your number stays private, and they never mass-text you after your first day signing up).  I use it with my students and their parents all year - and it works great!

How will we know when there are updates?

There is a new app called "Remind101" that automatically sends texts out to people on a list while maintaining the privacy of cell phone numbers.  We've set up a Remind101 account to let you know when there are updates to the plans or the blog.  To join, just send a text to (586) 782-8980 with the message @nashbash14 and you will be subscribed to the list and get updates via text about the trip!

What will we be doing?
We are so excited and are finalizing an itinerary for the weekend.  If you want to check out some of what we have in store while we're in Nashville, here are some fun options we're exploring:
